Jessica Aronson, LCSW-R, ACSW, CGP, CEDS-S is a Psychotherapist in private practice in New York City. She specializes in the treatment of eating disorders, anxiety, depression, trauma, OCD, and co-occurring addictions. Currently, she serves as the President of iaedpNY and has held leadership positions as Vice President, Certification Chair and Student Liaison. In addition, she is an approved supervisor for iaedp NY. Jessica Co-founded Passages which provided group psychotherapy and support for people struggling with eating disorders. Jessica collaborates with reputable certified eating disorder practitioners including doctors, nutritionists, psychiatrists, and treatment facilities to assure clients receive comprehensive and quality care. She has been affiliated with NEDA, iaedpNY, NASW, CSAB, and The Renfrew Center of NY.
She received her master’s degree in Social Work from the Hunter College School of Social Work in 1999. Jessica completed her Post Graduate Work at The American Institute of Psychoanalysis at the Karen Horney Clinic and holds a certificate in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy. In addition, she received Post Masters certificates from the Stephen Mitchell Relational Center and NIP’s Integrative Trauma Study program. Jessica has additional training in ACT, DBT, psychodrama, EMDR, SE, and mindfulness.
